Captiv Creative and Captiv Studios provide students with the opportunity to work inside one of the most advanced content production environments in Texas. As home to Houston’s largest virtual production and film studio, our team produces high-end commercial content, branded campaigns, corporate communications, live event coverage, and emerging virtual production experiences for regional, national, and global brands.

Interns are not limited to observation—they become part of an active production ecosystem where they gain exposure to real client projects, professional production workflows, advanced studio technology, and collaborative creative problem-solving. Students work alongside producers, directors, cinematographers, editors, strategists, and technical specialists while learning how large-scale content is developed, produced, and delivered.

Job Description

Captiv Creative and Captiv Studios offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within one of the largest and most advanced production environments in Texas. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world commercial productions, branded content campaigns, virtual production projects, studio operations, marketing initiatives, and emerging media workflows.

Responsibilities may include assisting with pre-production planning, production support, studio setup and operations, equipment preparation and management, media organization, video editing, content creation, post-production workflows, marketing initiatives, business development activities, project coordination, virtual production support, AI-assisted content creation, workflow automation projects, and research related to emerging technologies. Interns will participate in team meetings, collaborate across departments, and contribute to active client projects while developing industry-ready skills and building a professional portfolio.

Qualifications

*Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
* Strong interest in media production, marketing, communications, business, technology, or related fields.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies and workflows.
* Professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
* Preferred but not required: experience with video production, photography, editing software, social media content creation, marketing, project management, AI tools, or business development activities.
