WHY INTERN?

Doing an internship while you're still in school is one of the best ways to build real-world experience and boost your confidence before jumping into the job market. It’s a chance to meet people in your field, grow your network, and put those classroom lessons into practice.

Hands On Experience

Having at least one internship under your belt when you graduate makes a big difference—it shows employers you’re ready to hit the ground running. Plus, internships help you figure out if a certain career path is actually the right fit for you.

Not sure where to begin? No worries—Kristina Werner, our Internship Program Manager, is here to help! You can reach her at kjwerner@central.uh.edu.
