Public Relations Society Houston Chapter

With more than 300 active chapter members, PRSA Houston is one of the nation's largest and most active chapters of the Public Relations Society of America. Founded in 1950, we help members become more valuable to their organizations and clients and, therefore, more successful professionally, by providing peer-based support, by encouraging professional growth through participation in educational programs and leadership roles, and by promoting the highest standards of professional competence and ethics.

National Association of Black Journalists Houston Chapter

The Houston Association of Black Journalists is a nonprofit organization of media professionals from the Houston area with members in every facet of print, broadcast and online media, education and corporate communications. HABJ was founded in 1986 and is one of the largest organizations of journalists of color in Houston. HABJ is an affiliate of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Media Alliance of Houston is a national, non-profit organization. Our Mission is to act as a foundation of leaders with a unity of purpose to promote progress and create change in the Houston area. MAH offers a variety of opportunities and activities to the advertising community. In addition to our informative monthly luncheons, MAH offers leadership training, networking opportunities, the MAH Job Bank, the popular "Battle of the Ad Stars" competition and the Star Awards Gala. In addition to providing annual internships and scholarships to Junior/Senior broadcast and advertising students, MAH also provides donations to the DREAM Fund, a charity which benefits members of the media industry who are in need after a medical or financial emergency.
