FINDING INTERNS

If your organization is looking for interns and would like for your opportunity to be posted and offered by the Valenti School of Communication, please be advised we require the following:

• The company should have an active and updated website where students can find more information about the organization and what they do.

• The internship posting submission needs to have all of the following: a clear job description and responsibilities, basic requirements needed to be considered, and instructions on how to apply.

• The internship should be in a professional setting and employers should be able to provide a physical, verifiable office location that is not a residency.

• All internship positions should be supervised by someone with a Communications degree or a background in Communications.

• Compensation can be hourly, a stipend, or unpaid. All unpaid opportunities must meet the Fair Labor Standards Act to be considered.
