Documentary Film Production Intern (Cinematography and Sound) - Next Mile Collective/Diaspora Diaries
This is a in person, paid, one weekend opportunity. Deadline to apply is July 31. Diaspora Diaries is producing its next documentary episodes ahead of a public platform launch later this year, and we are looking for an intern who wants real credits on real documentary work. You will work directly with the founder and our directors on both production and post. Responsibilities include assisting with camera setup, framing, and lighting on local shoots and interviews; logging, syncing, and organizing footage from international shoots; cutting social trailers and short vertical edits from episode footage; assisting with sound, including location audio capture, dialogue cleanup, and mixing; and helping with subtitling and color pipeline tasks. You will see how a small documentary operation runs end to end, from field capture to a finished episode on screen.
