His Grace Foundation provides physical, emotional and financial support to the patients and families of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (BMTU) at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH).
Job Description
The Communications Intern plays a key role in supporting fundraising and communication strategies, helping to promote the organization's mission and goals. This position involves administrative, marketing, and communication tasks to enhance donor engagement, social media presence, and overall visibility of the organization.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in development, communications, or related work (internships or volunteer work can be applicable).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, EveryAction, Constant Contact, Bloomerang; Network for Good).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, donor management systems, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for the organization’s mission and willingness to engage in its goals.
