Videographer/Photographer Intern - University of Houston Health

UH Health is an umbrella health brand for the University of Houston that just launched, July 15, 2026. It encompasses 5 health professional colleges and soon to be 4 research institutes.

Job Description

The Photographer & Videographer Intern will support the marketing and communications team by capturing high-quality photography and supporting video production for the University of Houston's health enterprise. The intern will document campus events, academic programs, research initiatives, clinical services, and student life while helping create a diverse library of visual assets for use across digital, web, print, and social media marketing.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in professional photography and visual storytelling
• Experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras in a variety of lighting conditions
• Knowledge of composition, lighting, portrait photography, and event photography
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (preferred)
• Basic videography skills for capturing interviews, events, and b-roll
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a creative team
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Portfolio demonstrating photography work preferred
