Job Description

Houston Public Media is looking for two creative, motivated, and collaborative Media Production Interns for the Fall & Spring semesters. You'll have hands-on opportunities on our weekly, television show, Party Politics. You'll be able to observe and participate in the live-stream, digital feed of our daily talk shows, Houston Matters and Hello Houston. You'll get exposure to our News journalists, Social/Digital producers, Educational Outreach, Advancement, and other teams. You'll walk away with a deeper understanding and appreciation of how Houston Public Media has served this Southeast Texas community since 1950.

Qualifications

You must be enrolled in a faculty supervised Media Intership class at your institute of higher learning during the semester you are here. We "prefer" experience in-class or informally in Studio Operations, EFP/Digital Cinematography, or similar classes.
