Social Media & Marketing Intern - Primary Fusion Productions & More

This listing encompasses 3 different organizations. Primary Fusion and The Lost Boys band have been in business in Houston for 20 years this fall. Pendragon Productions oversees the super new jazz and contemporary pop act Holiday & Vine - a recent offshoot of The Lost Boys. In addition, Andrea Fowler is a Houston Mortgage Broker associated with both companies who is looking for marketing help and has a deep network of Houston heavy-weights.

Job Description

The right candidate will be responsible for social media outreach, growth and measurement for 3 different entities. Two musical acts (one that has been entertaining Houston for 20 years) and an award winning mortgage broker. Responsbilities include keeping Facebook, IG, and TikTok up to date with at least 3 posts a week. Buffer or HootSuite can be used to maximize efficiency. Growing followers organically for IG is key. New TikTok growth for all 3 entities will be a new responsibility. May involve some light phone conversations with booking agents or mortgage customers. If you are uncomfortable with phone communication, do not apply. Creative vision, camera/visual capabilities, a love of communication and retro music are a major plus. We are highly creative, successful and currently reside in the creative space - having jointly attended the High School For Performing Arts, The Royal Academy for Dramatic Arts in London, NYU and strong backgrounds and connections within the local visual arts, tv production and film industry. The head of Primary Fusion worked for years as a producer for Great Day Houston and is currently the producer for a Texas syndicated television show.

Qualifications

The ability to demonstrate engagement and creativity on social media platforms. Particularly the ability to keep postings up to date and grow an audience. Being articulate and not afraid to speak on the phone with potential interested parties is also essential. Graphic design, an eye for the absurd, what works creatively, fun and a network of creative individuals is a plus.

The ability to keep social media channels up to date and growing as well as the ability to speak on the phone to potential clients. Light marketing required. A love for retro music and Houston real estate would be great!
