Athletics Communications Intern - Rice University Athletics

Job Description

Communications interns will gain hands-on experience in all facets of athletics communications at the Division I level, including compiling and evaluating statistics, creating weekly media materials (game notes and social media graphics), media relations, and maintaining social media accounts. Interns will assist with game-day operations (pregame, in-game, and postgame) for multiple sports as well as other weekly tasks per academic schedules. Ideal candidates possess a working knowledge of sports and an interest in creating new opportunities to best promote our student-athletes and their teams. September 1 deadline.

Qualifications

An understanding of Adobe software is preferred but not necessary.
