Fall 2025 Internship Program - Counter Culture Management

Qualifications

  • Must be located in Houston, TX.

  • Must have access to a laptop

  • Must have access to transportation

  • Availability to work 2-3 times per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Prior experience in artist management, music marketing, entertainment industry or relevant experience to the specific department is highly desirable but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms. Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, and other digital creation platforms.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for music and a keen eye for detail. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute creatively to projects.

Area's of Interest

  • Social Media/Marketing

    The Social Media Intern will assist in developing, curating, and managing digital content across Counter Culture Management’s platforms. This role focuses on building brand visibility and engagement with a strategic, creative approach.

    Responsibilities:

  • Create, schedule, and post content across social media platforms.

  • Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely campaigns.

  • Monitor and engage with followers to foster community interactions.

  • Track and analyze metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns.

  • Collaborate on social media campaigns and influencer partnerships.

  • Event Coordination

    The Event Coordination Intern will support the planning, promotion, and execution of Counter Culture Management’s events, including the Culture Shift Mixer. This role offers hands-on experience in event logistics and production.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist in event planning, including vendor and venue coordination.

  • Help with event promotion and managing guest lists and RSVPs.

  • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth event operations.

  • Coordinate with vendors, performers, and staff before and during events.

  • Collect post-event feedback and assist with event reports.

  • Executive Operations

    The Executive/Operations Intern will provide direct support to the leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and efficient workflow. The Executive Assistance Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team across multiple facets of Counter Culture Management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and eager to learn about the inner workings of a fast-growing music and entertainment company.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and coordinating meetings.

  • This dynamic role goes beyond administrative tasks, offering hands-on experience in artist services (A&R), event coordination, community relations, social media, and business operations.

  • Conduct research and compile information to assist with decision-making.

  • Handle administrative tasks to streamline business operations.

  • Strategic Partnerships

    The Strategic Partnerships Intern will assist in researching, securing, and nurturing brand collaborations and sponsorships to support Counter Culture Management’s activations and events.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist in raising sponsorships for activations, events, and partnerships.

  • Identify potential brand partners and sponsorship opportunities.

  • Support outreach efforts to brands and maintain ongoing communication.

  • Assist in developing pitch decks, proposals, and sponsorship packages.

  • Track partnership engagements and provide status updates.
