Multimedia & Social Media Intern - UH College of Nursing
Description and Responsibilities
The Multimedia & Social Media Intern will support the communications team by developing content across social media platforms for the Andy & Barbara Gessner College of Nursing, assisting with graphic design projects, and capturing photos and videos for campaigns and events for marketing use.
Responsibilities include:
Content creation and scheduling on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Graphic design for digital and print use
Photography and videography for marketing purposes, including events, programs, b-roll and targeted campaigns
Editing photos and videos for use across platforms
Communications tied to photography and videography for social media, newsletters, and website (captions, storyline, emails)
Supporting general marketing and communications projects as needed
Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications
Ability to bridge student and professional communities through language, photography/videography and content creation
Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools (preferred)
Photography and videography skills (shooting and editing, preferred)
Familiarity with major social media platforms and content trends (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Excellent writing skills with attention to brand tone and style
Organized, reliable, and proactive — able to manage tasks and meet deadlines
Enthusiasm for contributing to a team and a willingness to learn
