Marketing Intern - First3Years
First3Years is a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to nurturing the early relational and mental health of infants and toddlers. We work alongside caregivers, parents, and professionals to strengthen early childhood systems, provide workforce education and training, and advance best practices that support healthy development during the first three years of life. Our vision is that all infants and toddlers in Texas spend their first three years in an ecosystem that supports their early mental and relational health. Through professional development, public awareness campaigns, coalition-building, reflective practice, and statewide initiatives, we help create stronger relationships that lay the foundation for lifelong well-being.
Job Description
First3Years is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support our communications and outreach efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience promoting programs, events, and resources that strengthen early childhood systems across Texas. This is a part-time, remote internship. Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with social media content creation and scheduling
Designing graphics and promotional materials
Drafting newsletters, blog posts, and website content
Supporting marketing campaigns and awareness initiatives
Video editing and multimedia projects
Conducting research on communications trends and audience engagement
Tracking marketing analytics and preparing reports
Supporting event promotion and community engagement efforts
Maintaining brand consistency across communication channels
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, advertising, digital media, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Familiarity with Canva
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating content for social media platforms
Basic knowledge of video editing software
Interest in nonprofit communications, early childhood, public health, or community engagement
Experience with email marketing platforms and social media analytics tools
