Social Media/Marketing Intern - Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy

Job details:

Will assist the Managing Director with uploading content to social media channels, creating and managing social media calendars, managing event listings with advertising and marketing partners, developing digital media ads and other marketing materials, writing and designing customer newsletters, identifying community outreach opportunities and sponsorships, and contacting schools about after-school program and field trip opportunities, among other duties.


Requirements:

Candidate must pass a background check and drug test.

Six Pixels Film & STEM Academy (www.sixpixelsfilmacademy.com) is a creative youth education program offering fun, engaging, and educational classes in movie-making, stop motion, art and animation, video production and editing, movie acting, puppetry, set and prop design, cosplay and character development, and STEAM fundamentals such as robotics, circuitry, CAD design and 3-D printing, all wrapped around a unique STEAM-enriched, story-centric curriculum. We help children explore STEAM in a safe, collaborative, active, and social environment, promoting leadership, teamwork, confidence, problem-solving skills, and creative thinking. Offering after-school programs, homeschool classes, summer camps, workshops, birthday parties, field trips, Kids' Night Out, and more, Six Pixels offers a structured curriculum which builds a multitude of skills through carefully designed challenges that encourage students to create stories, develop artistic skills, spark the imagination, and have some fun with science along the way.

Hours: Up to 10 hours a week, flexible schedule

Compensation: $10/hour
