Texas Civic Ambassadors Program

The Texas Civic Ambassadors Program prepares students across the state to be civically engaged leaders through nonpartisan, youth-focused events and civic learning opportunities. May 15 application deadline!

This competitively selected, year-long leadership program equips students with the skills to advance civic engagement on their campuses. Through the program, Ambassadors will: 

  • Attend the August TCA Leadership Summit and January training (travel and housing covered) 

  • Gain complimentary access to Strauss Institute events, including The Texas Tribune Festival 

  • Receive support, guidance, and funding to implement a civic engagement project on campus 

  • Connect with a network of student leaders from across Texas
