PR Intern - The PR Boutique

The PR Boutique is a full-service public relations firm with offices in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, working with clients throughout US.

As a Public Relations and Social Media Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in both traditional PR and digital communications, supporting a variety of clients and campaigns across industries.

Your tasks will vary daily, providing opportunities to explore different aspects of the industry, strengthen your skills, and discover your professional strengths. You’ll assist Account Executives and Account Coordinators with a wide range of projects that may include: Researching clients’ media presence and compiling daily reports on press coverage and industry news, Assisting with media outreach and press list development, Supporting the creation and management of social media content across multiple platforms, Monitoring engagement, tracking analytics, and identifying trends to inform strategy, Participating in brainstorming sessions and campaign planning meetings, Helping coordinate events, influencer collaborations, and other client initiatives.

This internship offers valuable, hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and social media management, preparing you for a successful career in communications and marketing.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication, Excellent research and organizational skills, Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn), Creative thinking and content creation ability, Attention to detail and accuracy, Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn, Basic design skills (Canva), Understanding of media outreach and analytics (preferred)
