This is a short-term, in person, $20/hour position. 4 Hours on Wedneday and 4 hours on Sunday, There maybe opportunities for more hours.
Job Description
Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment to ensure a smooth and professional conference experience. This includes installing microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, lighting, and video systems; conducting sound and visual checks; troubleshooting technical issues; and providing real-time support during presentations and performances. The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced event environment while delivering excellent customer service to presenters, staff, and attendees.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment (microphones, speakers, projectors, mixers, cables, lighting)
Ability to lift and move equipment (typically 25–50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
