Summer Editorial Internship - Newsday
Newsday offers 10-week, paid summer internships for college juniors, seniors and recent graduates who are preparing for careers in journalism. The internships, which take place at Newsday's headquarters in Melville, New York, are a unique opportunity for student journalists to work side by side with professional journalists on our print, digital and television platforms, helping to produce content for our loyal, diverse Long Island audience. Internship opportunities for reporting, editing, design, producing and social media are available in all newsroom departments. February 7 deadline.
CBS Sports/AAJA Sports Task Force Internship
The CBS Sports Production Department oversees all production for live shows and games on CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network. The Production Intern will report to the VP of Remote Production. The intern will be involved in observing event and studio production, helping log footage for edit sessions and performing research as needed. A strong interest in a future in sports production is a necessity. February 4 deadline!
ESPN / AAJA Sports Task Force Internship
ESPN NEXT is the company’s Production Assistant program focused on multi-platform content creation for early-career professionals. The program looks for creatives who have a passion “To Serve Sports Fans, Anytime, Anywhere.” As a part of NEXT, you will join a team of early-career professionals that produce creative content for ESPN shows, live events, social/digital and company-owned platforms. The dates of this program are June 8th through August 14, 2026. Deadline to apply is February 4, 2026
City of Sugar Land, TX 2026 Summer Intern
The City of Sugar Land is inviting students pursuing a college degree, graduate degree, or recent graduates (Individuals who recently completed a degree within a 6-month period from their graduation date may be considered for this program) who are interested in a temporary job as a Summer Intern to apply to join our amazing City! Summer Intern - Houston Endowment
Reporting to a designated project supervisor, the summer intern will work on defined projects that support the program team. The Loomis Agency Summer Internship Program

We look for fellows who are ready to dive into daily news and enterprise coverage — including reporting on elections and Texas’ biennial legislative sessions — alongside our seasoned reporting staff. Ideal candidates will have experience reporting and writing on deadline and an interest in covering state policy topics, such as health, education, immigration, criminal justice, and the environment, as well as the state’s changing demographics. Fall Marketing and Communications Fellowship - The Texas Tribune
Our marketing and communications fellows assist in coordinating marketing and media relations for Tribune products, including events and news. They help the MarCom team with copywriting, social media placement, project management and field marketing. They also assist with community outreach efforts through email and phone calls to increase awareness of and attendance at events, and they coordinate media interviews for Tribune reporters. February 15 deadline.
