Media Production Intern - Social Justice Learning Institute
The Social Justice Learning Institute (SJLI)-Houston is a branch of the national organization dedicated to improving the education, health, and well-being of youth and communities of color. SJLI-Houston focuses on empowering students, particularly young men and women of color, to create positive change in their communities. They achieve this through programs like the Urban Scholars program, which equips students with academic and career development, leadership skills, and community engagement opportunities.
At SJLI-Houston, we believe media is a powerful way to spark change—especially when it’s rooted in real stories from real people. Our work focuses on expanding access to education and opportunity for youth in historically under-resourced communities. We’re looking for a Media Production Intern who’s creative, motivated and ready to help bring that story to life.
