Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – two days in office per week after initial training, additional in office days could be required)

Avail Media is a full-service media agency providing strategic planning, media buying, and promotional services across both traditional and digital platforms. In addition to working directly with advertisers, we also support creative agencies, marketing consultants, and public relations firms with customized media services.
Position Summary
We’re seeking an entry-level Media Coordinator to support our media team in a dynamic, fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and eager to learn the media planning and buying process from the ground up. This hybrid role requires an in-office presence two days per week (subject to change), following a two-week, full-time on-site training period.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the Media Team
Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, media flowcharts, and campaign summaries
Monitor and report on competitive advertising spend and creative trends
Issue and manage insertion orders, revisions, and cancellations across various media types
Reconcile and process vendor invoices accurately and on time
Request media proposals across print, online, out-of-home (OOH), and digital platforms
Support daily office operations, including phones, emails, data entry, and general clerical duties
Order and maintain office supplies as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree required (preferred fields: Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or related)
Prior internship or mentorship experience in advertising, media, or marketing is a plus
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and file-sharing tools
Familiarity with digital media and social media platforms is a plus
Knowledge of media buying software (e.g., Strata) is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional Details
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Houston, TX
Office presence is required two days per week, with flexibility subject to business needs
Training will be conducted in-office for the first two weeks
