Marketing Intern - University of Houston Online and Special Programs
Hours and Location: Typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm. Interns are expected to work 10-20 hours per week throughout the semester.
Compensation: Up to $10 per hour in addition to class credit in compliance with your college's criteria.

Position Description and Responsibilities
This is an internship opportunity for current UH students interested in growing their skills and gaining real-world experience in marketing and digital communications in higher education. As a marketing intern, you will work closely with our team to support promotional efforts and enhance our online presence. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the development of marketing materials, including newsletters, marketing campaigns, email campaigns and website content.
Creating engaging posts and graphics for social media platforms such as X, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities in online education.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current UH junior or senior working towards a degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
Creative thinking and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools.
