Social Media and Creative Assistant Intern - CN Vision Image Consulting

CN Vision Image Consulting offers consultation services to people who are blind, have low vision, or have other disabilities. We help increase confidence and independence so that people can become gainfully employed or elevate their current professional image. Our team shares specialized non-visual and adaptive techniques for applying makeup, shaving, and dressing for success, even with limited or no eyesight.

At CN Vision Image Consulting, we seek a diverse group of interns ready to learn, grow, and develop firsthand. Over the summer, interns will gain valuable skills and experience to prepare them for their desired positions after college.

Job Description

This internship opportunity is for current college students interested in social media and digital creativity. This internship will give you hands-on experience with our communications and video interns. This is a part-time (anywhere from 10-20 hours per week), unpaid, remote internship (with scheduled in-person special accessible events) with an opportunity for a part-time position in the fall. Position starts in the summer with three months of work and a possible invitation to stay on board as a paid position at the end of the internship. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating and executing content for CN Vision’s social media platforms.

  • Use analytics and data insights to ensure content resonates with target audiences.

  • Work closely with the communications and video intern to brainstorm, design, and implement innovative digital content strategies.

  • Understand metrics and numbers to schedule content with the communications intern.

Qualifications

  • Current college student working towards a degree in Communications, Film, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience in digital design and creating graphics, ads, flyers, etc.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Meta Suite, etc.

  • Creative thinking and interest in social media growth.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and collaborate with team members.
