Internship Purpose
The Marcom Intern will assist the Marketing & Communications department with developing and deploying email marketing campaigns for organizational activities and support in the development of blog content for Houston.org. In the process, the intern will gain experience in writing and designing digital content used for various marketing channels and build the skills necessary to work in a team environment.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a junior or senior undergraduate student with a strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to better understand the forces driving the local economy. Qualified candidates may have previous marketing and communications internship or similar experience and are currently working toward a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or general business and be in good academic standing.
