Social Media Intern - The Joint Chiropractic

We are excited to search for a Social Media Intern to take part in growing our business! We have 8 locations (7 in Houston and 1 in Beaumont). We are looking for someone to can create content and manage our Social Media pages with the intention to increase our online traffic and in turn, grow our business. This is a part time internship.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic about Social Media and content creation

  • Can maintain 8 locations of social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Google Business) through Sprouts Social (a fantastic tool to schedule posts and manage individual pages)

  • Creative thinking and production

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of social media marketing and management

  • Experience with SEO and social listening tools

  • Skills in content creation and graphic design

  • Knowledge of public relations and Facebook Advertising

  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics and web analytics

Scope of Work: Social Media Manager Intern

Content Generated per Week

  • Instagram - 2 to 3 and scheduled for the following week

  • Facebook - 1 to 2 and scheduled for the following week

  • Google - new photo of each clinic posted each week

  • TikTok - new TikTok video each week per account

Posts per Week

Instagram - 2-3

  • 1 or 2 main post

  • 1 reel or story

  • Reels — 30 sec. Adjustment

  • Stories

Facebook - 2

  • Work on boosting posts

Google - 1

  • 1 “posted by owner” picture or “update” to each clinic

TikTok – 1

  • 1 post

Google

  • Add services to all google pages — allowing easy access to prices

  • Links on Google Business Pages are accurate

  • Google Photos are up to date with seasonal graphics

  • Post new photos when (as needed)

  • Make sure all information is correct (open times, services, etc.)

Goals

  • Increase New Patients by 10% each month

  • Brand Awareness

  • Increase traffic on online platforms (Instagram, Google, Yelp, Microsites, Facebook, etc.)

Strategy

  • Monthly Strategy meeting with Manager to review reports and develop posting strategy

  • Weekly meetings for content creation and creative planning

Monthly Reports

  • Email every month within the first 5 days

  • Sprout social report

  • Google review report

  • Google bright reports

Miscellaneous

  • Create and post Doctor Schedules on the 1st of the month

  • Holiday Hours posted (as needed)

  • Inclement Weather hours adjustments (as needed)

  • Promotion awareness posts (as needed)

  • Other requests from Management
