Creative Intern - Giant Noise Austin, TX

The Creative Intern supports the Creative team in producing high-quality visual content for major brands throughout Austin and beyond. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, social media content creation, and branding and will bring a sharp eye for aesthetics. This is a paid internship.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing content for a variety of client social media channels

  • Support photo and video shoots, including assisting with equipment, food styling, and stepping in as a model when needed

  • Edit photo and video content using industry-standard software

  • Collaborate with the Digital Intern to plan and curate social media content calendars

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas

  • Assist with general administrative and production tasks as needed 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be rising Seniors at an accredited college or university

  • Preferred majors include Photography, Videography, Fine Art, Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications

  • Must have access to reliable transportation and valid driver license 

 

SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Rush)

  • Experience in photography videography, and/or motion graphics

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with social media platforms

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others

  • Strong problem solving capabilities

  • Self-motivated with a drive to set and achieve personal goals

  • Demonstrates initiative in learning industry knowledge and terminology

 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time

  • Working hours vary within window of 9:00 AM CST - 6:00 PM CST, Mondays - Fridays

  • Availability to work as needed on nights and weekends

  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs

  • Regular use of hands and fingers for computer use

  • Everyday use of vision and auditory senses, including exposure to blue light from computers

  • Work primarily indoors in an environmentally controlled setting

  • Daily communication with peers, media, and clients

  • Ability to maintain cognitive thinking and logical reasoning
