Suits for Sons Mentorship Program
Suits For Sons, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers a mentorship program originally designed for collegiate men of color or those from traditionally underserved areas. The goal of this program is to propel young leaders into thriving careers while encouraging service to their communities. Together, we want to suit our scholars with the tools needed to articulate ideas skillfully during interviews, successfully intermingle and interrelate during societal dinners and special events, and to communicate and impart sound points of view with the influencers of their communities and the world with grace and diplomacy. Suits for Sons also assists participants with internship preparedness and procurement, helping them build the skills necessary to excel in competitive internship and job markets. We want them to become leaders in our society.
Suits for Sons is currently seeking undergraduate students in the Houston area who are eager to gain hands-on experience. The program duration is 8 months, during which students will gain hands-on experience in the following key areas:
Networking and Communication
Interviewing
Personal Finance
Effective Presentations
Entrepreneurship
Conflict Resolution
Wellness and Mental Wellness
Applications for the program will open on April 1, and we still have openings available for motivated students. This mentorship program could be a great fit for students seeking personal and professional growth.
